Description

Want to work with molten glass? Here is your chance! After the lecture, discussion, and demo, we will pair up, and each team will take turns pulling and cutting vitrigraph as it flows from the pots. We will swap pots so each person gets experience pulling organic stringer/bulbs, straight cane and twisting cane.

This class is jam-packed with lots of activity and loads of information about vitrigraph, covering

• Safety Tips specific to Vitrigraph
• Loading pot for different outcomes
• Uses for hollow cane
• Making custom confetti
• Cutting Vitrigraph cane to make murrini
• Trying your hand at designing your own vitrigraph
